I graduated from the University of Glasgow Veterinary School in 2005. After a year of mixed practice, I returned to the Wirral and by 2010 owned two local clinics in Moreton and
Bebington.
I offered a range of orthopaedic and soft tissue treatments whilst running the clinics and was awarded a Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice in 2018 by the University of Liverpool,
a Certificate of Small Animal Surgery in 2022, followed by RCVS Advanced Practitioner Status in Small Animal Surgery at the start of 2023.
I have worked extensively performing referral level orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery in the North West over the last 5 years and am looking forward to bringing this wealth of knowledge to our patients and clients at Riverside Vets.
I live on the Wirral with my wife Hannah, and two children Thomas and Annabel. We have had a lot of animals over the years, most rescued from the vets. We have four rescue cats, and two poodles.
In my spare time I look after a Smallholding on which I grow all our own food and look after my 1969 vintage tractor, ‘Greased Lightening’!
I am a 2005 University of Bristol graduate and started my career working on the Wirral shortly after, followed by a brief stint in Bristol for a large hospital. I returned to the Wirral in 2009 and have worked here since.
I owned two local clinics in Irby and Neston between 2013 and 2021. This massive learning experience has enabled me to plan and build Riverside Vets to be the practice that Nick and I always dreamed of.
I particularly enjoy soft tissue surgery, but also have an interest in internal medicine and hope to enrol on a medicine certificate in 2025.
It is well known I’m a massive geek, with a keen interest in technology, all things Sci-Fi and anything fantasy related.
I live on the Wirral with my wife and two children. We have 2 Labradors, a Border Terrier and a cat called Martin.
I have worked in the veterinary industry since 2017. I qualified as an RVN late 2021 in a first opinion practice and have worked in a referral setting for some time, before coming back to first opinion work. I have a passion for patient care and I’m keen to further my knowledge in emergency and critical care.
I have owned Labradors since a young age, and currently have one chocolate girl called Buttons!
I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse and have been qualified since December 2021, although I have worked in the veterinary industry since March 2017. My areas of interest are anaesthesia, nursing care and surgery.
I have a cat and 2 bunnies that are all rescues. I was known as the “crazy bunny nurse” in my previous practice as I love them so much.
I look forward to being a part of the practice as it grows
